When we started cut.le.crap. it really came from one single statement about beauty care products:
"cut the crap"!
This is why we don't accept anything less than natural ingredients, that are safe, toxin-free and cruelty-free. We live by these rules, encouraging people to turn to a more sustainable and ethical lifestyle.
It's hard to do, we realise this. However, we are here to help you take back control of what goes onto your skin. We do all of this so you can shop worry-free.
We really give a shit about people and the planet.
we love it natural.
Natural ingredients are amazing for you. The benefits of natural beauty care have been known for millennia. However, we have chosen to ignore them and rely on products that are heavily processed and contain toxic chemicals.
We're here to change all of that. We are passionate about the power of nature and using raw materials that have powerful effects on the body. Our natural beauty care range has been developed with this in mind. We don't use any synthetic or chemicals that are harmful to your body or the environment.
We back this up by being transparent about all of our ingredients. We maintain a complete list of these for everyone to see. We have nothing to hide.
Do you know what's in your soap, shampoo, perfume, toothpaste, moisturiser, deodorant? If you go into your bathroom now, you will likely find beauty care products that have these ingredients on the bottle: mineral oil/petroleum; parabens; fragrances; sodium laureth sulfates (SLES and SLS); triclosan; BHA; phthalates; and PABA.
The worrying thing is that these chemicals are linked to very nasty side effects such as allergy reactions, respiratory distress, hormone disruption, the effect on sperm quality, cancer, early breast development in girls, even reproductive birth defects of males and females.
We think this is not acceptable. We think that industries do not give us enough information about the ingredients they use to help us make an informed decision. We think it's time for everyone to be given the chance to limit the risk of these harmful chemicals entering their bodies. We think it's time to protect our ecosystem from the dangers associated with this.
